Many people wonder after institutions have bought Bitcoin like crazy: What will they buy next? ETH? SOL? All my Altcoins?

It’s much simpler. What is currently the “best performing crypto category”: Memecoins 😭

At the very least, asset manager VanEck has launched a memecoin index that tracks the largest memecoins by market capitalization.

A new sub-category "PoliFi" has hit the headlines this week, driven by the US presidential election heating up.

Trump is considered to have triggered this by making it clear where he stands on cryptocurrency:

My feed is full of people talking about influencer…trading…cards?

Let me introduce you to Fantasy Top, the first “social card game” or to put it simply: A kind of soccer card game just with influencers instead of athletes.

Only Degens will know at least 3

Once you have created an account, you can collect cards and take part in tournaments. In the tournaments, you set up your team (i.e. 5 influencers) and compete against others.

Due to the enourmous hype, the packs (containing 5 random cards) got quite expensive.

How do I win? You collect points based on the Twitter engagement of your influencers. The players who collect the most points are rewarded in the form of in-game points, Blast Gold or new cards and packs.

How do I get started? Let's go through step by step:

Log in with your Twitter
Then you need an invite code (If you don't have one, feel free to use "Qu1nn_web3" :D)
Then you need $ETH on Blast
- If you don't have ETH on Blast yet you have to bridge it e.g. via Relay
And then you are ready to collect your favorite influencers cards

Influencer Benefits

Influencers receive 1.5% commission on the trading volume of their cards and a share of 10% on the sale of packs.

Fantasy Top has managed to create a lot of hype, and we know how this might end…

But as long as the influencers post about it and the community supports it, the wildfire will probably continue to spread.

The other side of the coin is that illiquid assets, as NBA Top Shot NFTs have shown, can also lose value very dramatically.

Kraken partnership with DLT Finance

Investing in crypto securely and in compliance with regulations is still a problematic topic for many German investors.

The new partnership between crypto exchange Kraken and DLT Finance's Brookerage and Crypto Custody Service aims to make this easier in future.

From July 10, 2024, German customers will have access to innovative and tailored crypto products.

DLT Finance is part of DLT Securities GmbH and DLT Custody GmbH and holds a BaFin license, which will enable it to provide localized expertise and infrastructure to serve millions of Germans with secure and compliant crypto services.

KfW's first blockchain-based digital bond

The digital transformation of the financial market is a pressing issue for many European financial institutions.

Now we have the KfW, Germany's largest promotional bank, entering the Web3 Game.

KfW is about to issue its first blockchain-based digital bond this summer 2024.

This new bond will be a crypto-security under the German Electronic Securities Act (eWpG).

The bank intends to use this initiative to drive the market for digital securities in Germany and across Europe.
